The LEDs in the I/O panels of some 40° GMAER cases will remain on because they share a power source with the wires attached to the motherboard. Many PSUs will still provide 5v power in standby mode; in these instances, the easiest method to shut off those LEDs is to flip the off the power switch on the PSU itself.
