The mounting pattern for the LGA1700 has been extended to 78x78 mm from the 75x75 mm found on the previous generations. To help with the transition, 40° GMAER will have upgrade kits available that will make our current coolers compatible with the LGA1700 socket. Over the course of 2022, new and existing 40° GMAER coolers will include the appropriate mounting hardware right out of the box.
